Your tourist guide in Valencia
¡Hola! My name is Elena Alcalá and I am Tourist Guide in Valencia from 2008.
My profession is my passion, it is what I have always done and what I would like to do for the rest of my life.
I studied Tourism at the University of Valencia. After my university studies, I lived one year in London and 6 months in Rome. There I improved my level of languages and I enjoyed the great experience that comes from living outside your borders, where you open your mind, you meet new people with their habits, their ideas, their values, etc.
In 2008 I obtained the certificacion of Tourist Guide in Valencia in three languages: Spanish, English and Italian.
My goal is to make my clients feel at home and offer a tourist service of quality. I would like to show you Valencia as I would show it to a good friend, in a professional but friendly way.
I would like to show you how we live in Valencia and what are our most deeply rooted traditions. I would like to explain to you those things that our grandparents told us and which don´t appear in books.
For these and many other reasons I decided to undertake this beautiful project called Visita Valencia, a personal project in which I have put all my effort and my love. But in this journey I am not alone, I am fortunate to collaborate with a large number of colleagues, all highly qualified. We all work with a common goal, that you fall in love with our city.
