The Natural Park of “La Albufera” is one of the most important wetlands in Europe where Valencian farmers grow rice and Valencian fishermen fish for eels, two tradicional products of Valencian gastronomy.
The tour will consist of three parts:
“GOLA DE PUJOL”: One of the best viewpoints of the park situated in one of the three channels which link the lake and the Mediterranean Sea.
BOAT TRIP: Traditional boat trip around the quiet lake of “La Albufera”. The duration of the boat trip is approximately 40 minutes.
VISIT TO A BARRACA: The barracas are traditional houses of Valencian farmers and fishermen used a few decades ago. Inside, there are all kind of tools and fishing tackle used by the inhabitants of that area.
